本日6月22日、STUDIO MOTIFは5周年を迎えることができました。
本日6月22日、STUDIO MOTIFは5周年を迎えることができました。
5年前、祖母が暮らしていた自宅2階をリフォームして始まったSTUDIO MOTIF。
あの頃は、まさか5年後に2度の大規模な工事を経て、レッスン室が2つになり、こんなにも素敵な講師チームと共に日々レッスンに向き合っているとは想像もしていませんでした。
実は開業当初、祖母との思い出がたくさん詰まった和室だ けはどうしても工事をすることができず、そのまま残していました。
でもある日、「やっぱりこの部屋でレッスンがしたい」と思い切って決断し、レッスン室へと生まれ変わりました。
今ではその部屋は、たくさんの音楽や笑顔が集まる、まるでスタジオの心臓のような存在になっています。
この5年間を振り返ると、レッスンだけでなく、自分自身もたくさんのことを学ばせてもらいました。
開業当初は「全部自分一人でやるんだ」と肩に力を入れて走り続けていましたが、仲間がいるからこそできることがあること、人を頼ってもいいこと、そして支え合うことの大切さを知りました。
日々スタジオを支え、私自身の心の支え でもいてくれる家族。
厳しいビザの壁にも負けず、いつもスタジオを支えてくれているJuan先生。
子どもたちにたくさんの刺激や学びを届けてくれている講師の先生方。
そして何より、STUDIO MOTIFファミリーとして大切な時間を共に過ごしてくださっている生徒の皆さま、保護者の皆さま。
皆さまのおかげで、今日という日を迎えることができました。本当にありがとうございます。
STUDIO MOTIFの「motif（モチーフ）」という名前は、音楽の中で曲を構成する最小単位となる短いメロディを意味しています。
小さなモチーフが集まり、フレーズになり、やがて一つの音楽になっていくように、このスタジオもまた、ここに集まる一人ひとりの想いや挑戦、成長や出会いによって作られてきました。
これからも皆さまのたくさんの「モチーフ」を大切に集めながら、STUDIO MOTIFらしい Symphony を奏でていけたらと思っています。
6年目のSTUDIO MOTIFも、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

Today, June 22nd, STUDIO MOTIF proudly celebrates its 5th anniversary.
Five years ago, STUDIO MOTIF began in a renovated space on the second floor of my family home, where my grandmother once lived.
Back then, I could never have imagined that five years later, after two major renovations, we would have two lesson rooms and such an incredible team of teachers working together every day to inspire our students through music.
When I first opened the studio, there was one room I simply couldn't bring myself to renovate—a traditional Japanese room filled with memories of my grandmother.
For a long time, I left it untouched.
Then one day, I realized, "I want lessons to happen in this room, too."
Taking that leap was not easy, but today that room has become the heart of our studio—a place filled with music, laughter, growth, and countless memories.
Looking back on these five years, I have learned so much—not only as a teacher and studio owner, but also as a person.
When I first started, I believed I had to do everything on my own.
Over time, I learned that meaningful things are built together, that it is okay to rely on others, and that having people around you who care makes all the difference.
I am deeply grateful to my family, who continue to support both the studio and me every day.
To Juan, who has stood by STUDIO MOTIF through every challenge—including a long and difficult visa journey.
To our wonderful teachers, who bring inspiration, creativity, and joy to our students every week.
And most importantly, to all of our students and families who have become part of the STUDIO MOTIF family.
Thank you for trusting us with your musical journeys and for making this community what it is today.
The word "motif" in music refers to a short musical idea—the smallest building block of a melody.
Many motifs come together to create phrases, and phrases come together to create an entire piece of music.
In the same way, STUDIO MOTIF has been built from the unique stories, dreams, challenges, and passions of every person who walks through our doors.
As we begin our sixth year, we look forward to collecting even more motifs and continuing to create our own unique symphony together.
Thank you for being part of our story.
