Music as a gateway to self-expression.

Why can't lessons be fun and exciting? Why can't practicing be rewarding?

Why don’t we try a new way of learning?

STUDIO MOTIF's lessons for children are based on Faber's method, and aim to help children acquire the basic skills of music (reading, listening, writing, and playing) from multiple perspectives.

Although piano is the main focus of the lessons, we also emphasize the importance of developing a sense of rhythm through exposure to a variety of music using the various percussion instruments available in the classroom. We provide skills that will surely be useful when your child is exposed to new music and instruments in the future.

Of course, our first goal is for your child to enjoy and develop a “love” for music.

A Flexible Approach to Lessons

Using Psychology × Music.

Not only in music, but in all things, there is a way of learning that suits the individuality of each child.

In music, some children excel at learning visually through music notation, some children excel at learning aurally by using their ears, and some children excel at learning through actually playing a musical instrument.

At STUDIO MOTIF, we do not impose one-size-fits-all lessons, but rather provide flexible lessons that match each child's individual characteristics, drawing on my knowledge of psychology and special education from my university studies in the United States.

A Fun Musical Learning Experience.

"I hate practicing an instrument." "I'm afraid of performing in front of people." "But I want to be able to play an instrument!" Why not try changing the way you learn?

First and foremost, we put fun first, and aim to help students acquire the fundamental musical skills of "reading, listening, writing, and playing" in a multifaceted way using not only the piano but also a variety of other instruments.
